- 1. Can I create a report without using a PC?
The Nexfin has an advanced report system, enabling you to print directly to paper or store a report as PDF.
- 2. Where does my data go?
All data is stored inside the Nexfin, this includes the blood pressure waveform and all beat-to-beat data, ecg, SpO2, etc. Data can be copied to the PC using an USB datastick.
- 3. Does Nexfin work in patients that are in shock?
Nexfin measures at the finger and we need bloodflow in the finger. In shock, blood flow to the finger can be minimal, thus we cannot measure, please refer to other techniques when this is the case.
- 4. Does Nexfin work in moving patients?
Nexfin comes with a Heart Reference System enabling patients to move their hand freely. Severe shaking of the finger or arm should be avoided for stable measurements.
- 5. Where can I buy the Nexfin?
Bmeye has a distribution network with local distributors in most countries. You can find them at this page . When there is no local distributor in your region, please contact BMEYE directly.
- 6. How can I use Nexfin data to do off line analysis?
Nexfin data can be exported to a USB flash disk and moved to a PC. A tool is available that allows export of the data to different file formats including CSV , Excel (for beat-2-beat data) and binary (for wave data) formats. This tool, FrameInspector, is available in the tools section in the customer area in MyBMEYE.
