Patient entered the emergency department with very low tension. We initiated liquid infusion and gave atropine. At that point Nexfin was started. A noisy start of the measurement with HR soon reaching 120 bpm which remained stable during the complete recording. To further increase tension we administered adrenaline. This almost doubled dP/dt and resulted in 25% increase of SV and CO. Tension returned to normotensive range. Tension remained acceptable and based on Nexfin response further medication was omitted.
